Sodium is what keeps our muscles from functioning improperly. Sodium also helps in regulating our body’s blood pressure. Sodium can be found in almost every food we eat, so it’s not as necessary of a nutrient unless you’ve removed sodium from your diet entirely.

Zinc is essential because it combines with other nutrients such as protein to aid in many functions of the body. Zinc can be found in blackberries, kiwi, pumpkin seeds, red meat and eggs.
